Sheriff’s Office seeks two men in east Sedgwick County robbery

The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find two men suspected of robbing another man early Tuesday in the 800 block of North Stagecoach.

The Sheriff's Office said the men were armed and wearing ski masks when they entered the victim's home shortly after 3 a.m. and then took him to a coin and precious metals business in the 2600 block of North Greenwich, where an undetermined number of items were stolen.

The victim's burgundy 2005 Lexus 330 also was taken, authorities said. It has a Kansas license plate of 191 ECK.

The Sheriff's Office is looking for the vehicle and for the armed men. One is described as white, 30 to 35 years old, 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall, about 240 pounds with an athletic build. He was wearing a black North Face brand sweatshirt with white writing, black pants, black gloves, a black cap and a black ski mask with only an eye opening at the time of the robbery.

The second man is described as black and in his 30s, 5-foot-5 with a stocky build and could be named Mike or Mark. He was wearing black clothing, a black ski mask and black gloves.

Anyone with information about the robbery or suspects is asked to call 911, sheriff's investigators at 316-660-5300, or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
