McDonald’s employees run from robbers brandishing guns

Police are looking for two men in connection with an attempted robbery of a McDonald’s in Wichita Saturday morning.

Both men carried handguns when they entered the McDonald’s across from Wesley Medical Center at Central and Hillside at 6 a.m. Saturday, Officer Paul Cruz said in a statement. They demanded money, but all of the employees fled the restaurant.

The suspects then ran from the store without getting any money, Cruz said. There were no injuries.

The first suspect was a white man wearing a black hoodie, gray pants and a black spider mask, Cruz said. The second is an unknown man who wore black clothing and a black spider mask. Both men carried black handguns.
