Kansas wardens seek tips in decapitated deer case

A decapitated deer was found dumped along a Douglas County back road, and Kansas Wildlife, Parks & Tourism is asking the public for tips.

The deer was found Oct. 10 on North 1400 Road near the Shawnee County line, the agency said.

They said the deer was shot to death before its head was taken.

Anyone who has information is asked to call the agency at 877-426-3843.
