Here’s when Wichita police will run their next DUI checkpoint

The Wichita Police Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint from 11 p.m. Sept. 22 to 3 a.m. Sept. 23.

Officer Charley Davidson said officers will check for valid driver’s licenses, valid proof of insurance and seat belt usage along with impairment.

Drivers shouldn’t expect excessive delays, he said.

The department isn’t saying where the checkpoint will be held, just that it’ll be within Wichita city limits.
