A Kansas City man will spend more than six years in federal prison for robbing a bank this spring.
Andre U. Randle, 37, of Kansas City, Kan., pleaded guilty to holding up the U.S. Bank at 10959 Parallel Parkway in Kansas City on Feb. 1. According to federal court documents and U.S. Attorney Tom Beall, Randle that day gave a note saying “I have 2 guns. Don’t make me use them” to a clerk.
He left the bank with cash that he put into a purple pillow case. Kansas City, Kan., police officers later arrested him during a traffic stop.
Randle received the 75-month prison term on Monday, Beall said in a news release.
