Wichita man sentenced to 3 years in prison for burglary spree

A Wichita man convicted of several burglaries during what authorities described as a crime spree last year has been sentenced to three years in prison.

Adam Booher, 35, pleaded guilty earlier this year to 19 felonies, including burglary, attempted burglary and felony theft. Sedgwick County District Judge Christopher Magana handed down Booher’s sentence on Tuesday for a series of crimes between June and November of last year.

Booher was also ordered to pay $46,946 in restitution to the victims. He was apprehended as he attempted to burglarize a Best Buy store on North Maize Road last November, authorities have said.

Detectives were able to match his method of entry to several burglaries and attempted burglaries involving several Wichita businesses, including Haddock computer, Ribbit Computers and multiple Target and Best Buy locations.
