Four men steal money, property exceeding $100,000

Four men — three of them brandishing handguns — broke into a house near Central and Hillside late Tuesday night, held the resident at gunpoint and made off with cash and property worth more than $100,000, police said.

The robbery was reported shortly before 10:30 p.m., according to a police report. The resident was bound up during the robbery, during which the suspects took cash, jewelry, electronics and prescription medication, Lt. James Espinoza said.

The suspects then left. The victim was able to identify one of the suspects through a photo array, according to the police report.

“We’re still trying to learn who might be involved,” Espinoza said.
