Dollar Tree, Bai Wei, QuikTrip robbed overnight
Three robberies occurred between 9:30 p.m. Thursday and 3 a.m. Friday, and Wichita police said it is unclear whether any of the incidents are related.
All suspects left the scenes with an undisclosed amount of money, but no suspects have been found at this time, police said.
Police gave these accounts of the robberies:
▪ At 9:35 p.m. Thursday, a Dollar Tree in the 6800 block of West Kellogg was robbed. The suspect was wielding a knife. The suspect was a man, 5-foot-11 to 6-feet tall. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark or gray camouflage pants and a mask.
▪ At 11 p.m. Thursday, Bai Wei Asian Diner, 1845 S. Rock Road, was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect demanded money from a store employee while armed with a handgun.
▪ At 2:50 a.m. Friday, a suspect robbed the QuikTrip in the 1500 block of South Seneca. The suspect is a man with short brown hair, possibly between 40 and 50 years old. He was wearing a black leather jacket, white undershirt, khaki shorts, white socks and black shoes. It is unknown whether the man was armed.
