Man stabbed in chest with sword

A man has been hospitalized after being stabbed in the chest with a sword, authorities said.

The incident was reported just before 9:30 p.m. in the 600 block of South Kansas, a Sedgwick County emergency dispatch supervisor said. That’s near Kellogg and Hydraulic.

Police are in the early stages of the investigation.
