Armed men rob Dollar General store near Central, I-135

Two armed men robbed the Dollar General store on East Central Tuesday night, police said.

The men came into the store at 1624 E. Central at 8:30 p.m. and demanded money from the two employees inside, Capt. Doug Nolte said. The store is located just west of I-135.

The robbers demanded money at gunpoint and were given a couple hundred dollars in cash, Nolte said. They then left the store in an unknown direction.

Both robbers brandished handguns.
