Official: MacArthur business suspects ex-employee of taking computers
An East MacArthur manufacturing business suspects a former employee of taking computers valued at more than $31,000, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.
The business, in the 4400 block of East MacArthur, reported the theft of “13 wearable terminal wrist computers,” the Sheriff’s Office said. The computers are worn on the wrist and can read barcodes.
The business alleges that the ex-employee took the computers between Feb. 4 and Feb. 21, the office said.
The case has been assigned to detectives, sheriff’s Lt. Lin Dehning said.
