Police seek suspected shooter in Cadillac
Police are searching for whomever pulled up alongside a 24-year-old man driving in west Wichita on Wednesday night and fired shots at his car.
The 24-year-old told police officers he and another man got into a verbal argument at the QuikTrip at 1112 W. Douglas around 11 p.m., and after he left, a Cadillac passed him in the area of Seneca and McLean and a person inside shot at his vehicle.
“The victim’s vehicle did receive multiple gunshots to the vehicle. The driver was not hit, nor was he injured,” Davidson said. He did not know what the argument was about.
Anyone who saw the altercation or shooting is asked to call police detectives at 316-268-4407 or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
The suspect is a white man wearing a black hat, black jacket and black shorts. The car from which the shots originated is a 2007 to 2016 red Cadillac with yellow lettering on its back window.
