Police ask for help after multiple shots fired at north Wichita house

Wichita police are asking for help in solving an aggravated assault case in which multiple shots were fired at a north Wichita residence.

The shoots were fired at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of North Mascot.

When police arrived at the residence, a 23-year-old woman reported having heard several gunshots and finding damage to her home, said Officer Charley Davidson, with the public relations unit of the Wichita Police Department. The home was also occupied by a 48-year-old woman, a 1-year old boy and a 3-year-old girl.

There were no injuries reported and no suspect information.

Police ask that anyone who was in the area or has information on the case call the Wichita Police Department detectives division at 316-268-4407 or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
