Harvey County Sheriff T. Walton said in a social media post Wednesday that it’s only a matter of time until the fugitives sought in connection with a recent triple homicide case are found.

Making his statements on the sheriff office’s Facebook page, Walton said nearly two dozen search warrants have been served in the search.

“We have followed up on numerous leads, have put in many, many man hours working the investigation,” Walton said. “We have sent law enforcement officers to a number of states and we continue to work the case every day.”

The bodies of Travis Street, 33, Angela Graevs, 37, and Richard Prouty, 52, were found outside a rural home on Spring Lake Road in Harvey County on Oct. 30.

Authorities have been looking for two fugitives in the killings: Jereme Nelson, 34, and Myrta Rangel, 31. The fugitives were last known to be in Oklahoma and driving a black-and-gold 1999 Ford pickup.

“We have not found our suspects, but it’s only a matter of time before we do,” said Walton in the Facebook post. “We shall never give up on this case until justice is served. We are working with a variety of agencies with one goal in mind, justice.”
