Two men were hurt – one seriously – in a clash at their house in north Wichita late Friday night, police said.

A 38-year-old man called 911 to report seeing two men parked in front of a nearby house at about 11:20 p.m. Friday in the 2700 block of North Waco, Sgt. Joe Kennedy said. They then went to the house and clashed with two men there before leaving a short time later.

The man who called 911 said he went over and found two men who had been hurt. One, a 39-year-old man, was taken to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis with potentially serious injuries, Kennedy said. The other victim, who is 40, refused medical treatment for a cut above his right eye.

Kennedy said he didn’t know what kind of weapon, if any, was used in the fight. The suspects are two unknown Hispanic males who drove south on Waco when leaving the area, the caller told police.
