Man stabbed in Hutchinson; one arrested
An argument over money culminated in one man being stabbed and another arrested in Hutchinson late Monday night, authorities said.
Police were called to 12th and Monroe shortly before 9:30 p.m. to investigate a stabbing, Lt. M.J. Robertson said in a prepared statement. When they arrived, they found a 30-year-old man with a stab wound to his chest.
He was taken to the hospital, where he underwent surgery and is now in stable condition, Robertson said. A 30-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Reno County Jail on suspicion of aggravated battery. His bond has been set at $50,000.
