Police searching for armed robber of Dollar General

Police are searching for the suspect of an armed robbery at Dollar General near Central and Hydraulic.

Officer Paul Cruz, of the Wichita Police Department, said police responded to the robbery Wednesday at around 8:55 p.m.

An employee of Dollar General told police that a man walked into the store with a handgun and took cash from the register, but that no one was injured.

Cruz said the suspect was described as being about 5-foot, 9-inches tall and roughly 200 pounds, wearing a face mask, blue sweater and gray pants.
