Scooter’s coffee shop in Old Town robbed

Wichita police are searching for a man who robbed a Scooter’s coffee shop in Old Town on Wednesday morning.

The robbery happened in the 300 block of North Washington shortly before 6:50 a.m., said Sgt. Nikki Woodrow, spokeswoman for the Wichita Police Department.

An unknown man walked up to the coffee shop window, pointed a gun at an employee and demanded money from the business.

Woodrow said the clerk gave an undisclosed amount of cash to the man, who left on foot.
