Man stabbed in south Wichita

A man was stabbed in the back of the head near Pawnee and Broadway on Thursday morning.

Wichita police responded to calls in the 2700 block of South Santa Fe around 5 a.m.

“There were multiple 911 callers that a male was going door-to-door in that area yelling for help,” Sgt. Nikki Woodrow said.

The 50-year-old victim was taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries, Woodrow said. Police are looking for two unknown white male suspects.
