Man armed with shotgun robs La Quinta on East Kellogg

A man armed with a shotgun robbed La Quinta Inn at 7335 E. Kellogg early Saturday morning, police said. No one was injured.

Two clerks were on duty when a man came in about 2:30 a.m. with the shotgun and demanded money, police Sgt. Mark Jackson said. The clerks gave the man cash, and he left on foot, Jackson said. He described the man as white in his late 20s, 5-foot-10 and 150 pounds, balding, with blue eyes, wearing brown pants and a camouflage jacket. A bandana covered the rest of his face, Jackson said.
