Police seek help in burglary at East Kellogg business
Wichita police are asking for the public’s help to solve a burglary at Eddy’s Toyota on East Kellogg.
The burglary was reported at 3 a.m. Tuesday. That’s when a 43-year-old male employee who was doing floor work at the dealership said that upon arriving, he noticed a door on the south side of the building that was unlocked, according to Officer Charley Davidson, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.
As police investigated the burglary, they notice Snap-on tools had been taken as well as computers and keys. Missing was also a black 2015 Chevy Impala with blacked out emblems and a dealer tag D647LX.
“If you know the whereabouts or see this vehicle, call 911 immediately,” Davidson said.
People with information are asked to call WPD case detectives at 316-268-4407 or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
