Pedestrian hit at intersection

A pedestrian suffered potentially critical injuries after being hit by a vehicle late Friday night, authorities said.

The collision was reported at 10:50 p.m. at Meridian and McCormick, a Sedgwick County emergency dispatch supervisor said. The victim was transported to a hospital.

The intersection was blocked off so officers could investigate.
