Three injured in north Wichita rollover crash
A rollover crash Wednesday night in north Wichita caused a power outage for residents around 25th and Broadway, a Sedgwick County dispatcher said.
The crash happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. Three people were transported to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis with injuries: a 12-year-old boy in serious condition, a 9-year-old boy in serious condition and a 20-year-old man with minor injuries.
Power lines were down in the area, including some over the nearby railroad tracks, the dispatcher said.
Anywhere from 500 to 1,500 residents were briefly without power following the accident, according to Westar Energy’s website. By 10:15 p.m. Wednesday, the website showed 50 or fewer residents without power in the area.
