Two Wichita police officers were making a routine traffic stop when they discovered far more than they may at first have suspected.
It was shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday when the officers stopped a 2005 white Chevrolet Impala in the 400 block of South Webb Road, according to Sgt. Nikki Woodrow, spokeswoman for the Wichita Police Department.
The officers observed the driver had made an improper left turn.
The officers then discovered the man was in possession of multiple credit cards that did not appear to belong to him. He was also carrying what appeared to be a falsified temporary license and a firearm. The officers took the man into custody.
