Five-car collision on Kellogg snarls evening traffic

A five-car collision during the Wednesday evening commute period snarled traffic on eastbound Kellogg from the Central Business District to Meridian, a Sedgwick County dispatcher said.

The crash, east of Sycamore and west of the Arkansas River, which was reported at 4:47 p.m., had eastbound traffic at a standstill as of 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police have blocked off two lanes of traffic and are diverting drivers to exits before the Central Business District, including Seneca and Meridian.

Two people sustained minor injuries in the crash.
