Wichita police officer earns international ‘40 Under 40’ award
Wichita police Sgt. Nikki Woodrow has been named to an international organization’s first “40 Under 40” list.
The International Association of Chiefs of Police created the award to recognize law enforcement professionals “from around the world that demonstrate leadership and exemplify commitment to their profession.”
Of the recipients chosen, 31 of the 40 work in the United States. Also represented were Belgium, Canada, Australia and the United Arab Emirates.
Woodrow, 37, has been with the Wichita Police Department for more than 15 years. She is the department’s public information officer.
