Need a reason to get involved with Neighborhood Night Out next week in Wichita?

The Wichita Police Department will give you 10. The department will post a video on its Facebook page at 6 p.m. Thursday delivering a decade of reasons to take part in the citywide party on Tuesday.

Neighborhoods that register will be eligible to have patrol officers and firefighters stop by their gathering, Wichita police Officer Charley Davidson said. To register, go to www.wichitapolice.com and fill out the registration form online.

Davidson called the event “an opportunity to continue to build strong relationships” between law enforcement officers and the community.
