Violin concert at Pioneer Bluffs to feature Wichita Symphony artists
An early 20th-century concert is on the program Aug. 13 at Pioneer Bluffs.
Nancy Johnson and Dominique Corbell, members of the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, have formed a group called Nova Deco. Both play violin.
The concert, which starts at 4 p.m., is sponsored by Homestead Ranch of Matfield Green, owned and operated by Jane Koger.
The concert is free and open to the public. Reservations are requested but not required. For more information, contact Lynn Smith, executive director at Pioneer Bluffs, at 620-753-3484 or lynn@pioneerbluffs.org.
Pioneer Bluffs is a historic ranch in Chase County that re-creates life as it was in 1916. The ranch, supported by a nonprofit foundation, is one mile north of Matfield Green on K-177. For more information, go to http://pioneerbluffs.org.
