Police looking for missing Wichita girl
Wichita police are searching for a 14-year-old girl who was last seen near Second and Grove. She has been missing since 5 p.m. Saturday.
Police spent much of Sunday looking for the girl.
“A large area around where she was last seen have been walked out by officers several times throughout the night and day,” wrote Sgt. Nikki Woodrow, public information officer for the Wichita Police Department, to local reporters. “We would like to continue to advise viewers, readers and listeners to share social media posts with her photo and to call 911 with any information about her.”
Police have identified the missing girl as Mariana Gonzalez. She is approximately 5-foot-7. She was last seen wearing a black tank top, black vest, black leggings and black flip-flops.
