Reports of car in Arkansas River in south Wichita

Emergency crews were searching the Arkansas River late Sunday after reports that a vehicle may have gone off the bridge at Harry and McLean in south Wichita.

Emergency responders were on the water and along the bank of the river searching for a possible submerged vehicle after multiple witnesses reportedly said a vehicle went into the water.

As of midnight, no submerged vehicle had been spotted, but crews were still at the scene.
