The Harper County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert for a missing man last seen in Nebraska.

Rex Roth, 56, was last seen in Chadron, Neb., at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, according to a statement released by the Kansas Bureau of Investigation. Roth has a past medical history of traumatic brain injury and has had episodes in the past where he is able to function but is unaware of his actions.

Roth’s truck was found unoccupied in Attica, where he has family ties, at 11 p.m. Tuesday, according to the KBI. Roth’s debit card was used in Russell at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Roth is 5 feet 8 and 205 pounds. He has blue eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a yellow T-shirt with “DAWES COUNTY” written on it.

Anyone who sees Roth is being asked to call the Harper County 911 center at 620-842-3086 or local law enforcement.
