Man in critical condition after vehicle hits two trees

A man received critical injuries in a vehicle accident on Tuesday evening, authorities said.

The crash occurred at around 8 p.m. at Kellogg and Grove, Wichita police Sgt. Nikki Woodrow said. The vehicle, a 2005 black Infiniti, was traveling south on Grove when it left the road and struck two trees.

The 24-year-old driver was pinned inside the vehicle, and rescue personnel had to remove him, Woodrow said. The driver was taken to a hospital with critical injuries.
