Sheriff: No injuries in Butler County house explosion
Authorities in Butler County are trying to determine what caused an apparently unattended rural house to explode.
Sheriff Kelly Herzet said that the blast leveled the structure near Benton at about 5 a.m. on Monday.
Authorities said a neighbor’s windows were blown out, but there were no injuries.
Herzet said that he heard the blast from his house, which is about 20 miles away.
