Saturday’s parade was one of several events honoring Martin Luther King Jr. last week in Wichita.

A final event is set for Monday, the official King holiday. The Greater Wichita Ministerial League will hold a Martin Luther King Jr. celebration at Wichita State University’s Hughes Metropolitan Complex, 29th Street North and Oliver.

The event, which is co-sponsored by WSU’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion, begins at noon.
