Wichita motorist, 52, dies after car hits tree near 13th, Maize

A 52-year-old Wichita man died late Friday after the car he was driving hit a tree near 13th and Maize, a police official said Saturday.

The man died at the scene, in the 1500 block of North Valleyview Court, Sgt. Mark Jackson said. The crash was reported at 11:30 p.m. Friday.

No one else was injured, Jackson said.
