Police: Bite marks lead to Wichita father’s arrest
A 28-year-old Wichita man is in jail, accused of biting his young daughter all over her body, police say.
A staff member at Irving Elementary noticed bite marks on a 4-year-old girl’s arm on Thursday and notified authorities, Wichita police Lt. James Espinoza said. Investigators discovered the girl had marks consistent with bites throughout her body.
The girl’s father was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail shortly after 7:15 p.m. on suspicion of child abuse.
