Boy, girl walk into Wichita hospital with gunshot wounds
Wichita police are investigating a shooting incident involving two teens Wednesday morning.
A girl and boy walked into Wesley Medical Center shortly after 10 a.m. with wounds, police said. The girl had been shot in the arm and the boy shot in the leg.
They reported being shot in north Wichita, but officers who went to that location found no evidence that a shooting had taken place, Wichita police Lt. James Espinoza said. An investigation into the incident is in its early stages.
