Police: Wichita man stabbed by his girlfriend
A 21-year-old man was stabbed by his girlfriend Friday night, police said.
Wichita police Sgt. Joe Kennedy said police were called at 9 p.m. Friday to a house at 600 N. Elder, where a 38-year-old woman reported her son had been stabbed with a knife by his 21-year-old girlfriend at a house in the 2400 block of Woodland.
Kennedy said the wound caused “serious injury to his left side,” and the victim was taken from the house on Elder by EMS to Via Christi St. Francis.
Police are looking for the victim’s girlfriend, he said.
