Motorists can expect lane closures on a portion of Kellogg on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The closures will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days on westbound Kellogg from Edwards to West streets so Kansas Department of Transportation crews can put down lane striping, said Tom Hein, a spokesman for the department.

A concrete barrier wall will be installed and on Thursday three lanes each 10 feet wide will be created. Work will then begin on the ramp from westbound Kellogg to West Street, Hein said. The ramp will remain open.

The work is part of the I-235 and Kellogg interchange project.
