Teen struck by car in southwest Wichita on Sunday
A 17-year-old girl was hospitalized after she was struck by a car in southwest Wichita on Sunday night, authorities said.
The teen was hit just after 7:30 p.m. at Pawnee and Seneca, according to a Sedgwick County emergency dispatcher. She was taken to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis with injuries not considered life-threatening.
A 60-year-old woman was driving south on Seneca when she struck the teen, according to a police report about the incident.
Updated information on the girl’s condition is not yet available.
