Fire damages house in Delano neighborhood (+video)

Fire damaged a house Tuesday in the Delano neighborhood of west Wichita, authorities said.

The fire was reported at 10:18 a.m. in the 200 block of North Elizabeth, a Sedgwick County emergency dispatch supervisor said. The Red Cross was called to provide assistance for two people at the house, which is northwest of Douglas and Seneca.

A generator was being used to provide electricity at the house, the supervisor said. No injuries were reported.

It took firefighters less than half an hour to put out the fire. A damage estimate has not been released.
