Power outages hit parts of Wichita near 21st and Greenwich

About 550 Westar customers are without power stemming from about 40 outages near Greenwich Road and East 21st Street, according to the Westar outage map.

The outages occurred about 11 a.m. Tuesday. Westar does not have a cause for the outages but it has sent technicians to the area to determine the problem, a spokeswoman said. It does not yet have a timeline for when power will be restored to the area.
