Downtown World AIDS Day event to be hosted by KU School of Medicine-Wichita
The University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita is hosting an event for World AIDS Day on Tuesday.
The event will feature personal testimonies, musical performances and a medical update by Donna Sweet, physician and professor at KU School of Medicine-Wichita.
The program is free and starts at 6 p.m. at Garvey Kiva, 250 W. Douglas.
Event organizers ask attendees to park in the adjacent parking garage and follow balloons to the Kiva.
The Wichita World AIDS Day committee sponsored the event with representatives from local agencies. For more information about the event, call 316-293-3595.
