Chili feed, silent auction Friday for toddler critically hurt in November collision

A chili feed and silent auction are being held Friday night to raise money to pay medical expenses for a 16-month-old girl who was critically injured in a two-vehicle collision last month.

Faith Gales was hurt when the car she was riding in collided with a car whose driver was fleeing from a Sedgwick County Sheriff’s deputy and ran a red light on the morning of Nov. 4. The collision occurred at Pawnee and George Washington Boulevard and injured a total of four people, including Faith’s father.

The chili feed and silent auction for Faith are being held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at River Lawn Christian Church, 4243 N. Meridian, organizers said. Bidding in the silent auction will end at 7:30 p.m.

Pictures with Santa will be taken from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
