A Wichita family is facing eviction from its apartment in part because the father has been out of work for almost two months.
The family has received money from Share the Season to pay an electric bill, but they need to come up with another $200 to complete the rent payment.

She said she is trying to sell clothes the children have outgrown.
The children’s father is employed by a construction company, the mother said, but there hasn’t been any work for two months. He’s trying to find work elsewhere, she added.
She is a stay-at-home-mom, looking after the two young children. The family doesn’t have a vehicle.
“We walk everywhere,” the mother said. “Once we get some transportation I’m sure he can find work.
“Right now, we’re just trying to keep a roof over our heads.”
So far, Share the Season has raised more than $141,052.
