Rosy food drive is this weekend
The annual Rio Roses food drive is this weekend in Wichita. In exchange for a donation of six food pantry items or a $5 donation to the Kansas Food Bank, donors receive six free Rio Roses.
Two florists are participating in the drive, sponsored by wholesaler Valley Floral. Susan’s at 4737 E. Douglas will conduct the food drive Friday through Sunday, and Dean’s Designs at 3555 E. Douglas will participate on Friday and Saturday.
