People flocked to the Sedgwick County Zoo on Saturday for its annual “Night of the Living Zoo” event.

The event encourages families to come to the zoo for some “not-too-scary Halloween fun,” according to the zoo’s website.

Costumes were not required but were encouraged.

Activities on hand included pumpkin bowling and bean bag tosses.

All sorts of Halloween-themed activities were spread throughout the zoo, and people were free to roam.

The event continues from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday at the zoo.

Tickets can be purchased for $7 from area QuikTrip locations or online.

At the gate, tickets increase to $9 for nonmembers and remain at $7 for zoo members.
