K-5 girls invited to Girl Scouts party in Andover Central Park

Families with girls in kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to a Fall Party in the Park in Andover, hosted by Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland.

The party, 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 22 at Andover Central Park, 1607 E. Central in Andover, is free. Girls can participate in fall activities and decorate pumpkins donated by Cox Farm. Hot dogs and drinks will be provided.

The event is designed to introduce girls and families to the opportunities in Girl Scouting. Girls wanting to sign up will be able to do so for $15; financial assistance is available. For more information, e-mail Courtney Crain at ccrain@gskh.org, or go to kansasgirlscouts.org.
