Environmental specialist to discuss water issues in Wichita

“Water – From Macro to Local” is the topic of a talk Kay Drennen will be presenting at 7:30 p.m. Monday at The Donut Whole, 1720 E. Douglas.

Drennen is a Wichita native and graduate of North High School. For the past 25 years, she has been employed by the city of Wichita Public Works and Utilities and is an environmental specialist in water resources conservation in the Environmental Health Division. She has a degree in biology from Bethany College in Lindsborg and has done post-graduate study in central plains ecology, resource management, hydrogeology, landscape architecture and maintenance.

The event is sponsored by the Science Cafe, a group started in January 2011 by Kansas Citizens for Science.
