Free classes will teach cooking for kids with challenges
Parents and children can learn to cook kid-friendly meals that help with poor concentration, hyperactivity, anxiety and food sensitivities.
The classes are free of charge at GreenAcres Market, 8141 E. 21st St., in Bradley Fair.
Anne Zauderer, a doctor of chiropractic medicine at the Riordan Clinic, will lead four cooking classes, all on Tuesdays at 7 p.m.: Oct. 6, Oct. 20, Nov. 3 and Nov. 10.
The Riordan Clinic will offer the classes for free to promote its new project called Optimal Kids – a medical, nutritional and lifestyle program for children with behavioral and health challenges.
Optimal Kids costs $1,680 and entails five visits to the Riordan Clinic. GreenAcres Market will give away three $800 scholarships to families in need of the services. The Riordan Clinic will accept scholarship applications through the end of October.
For more information about the Optimal Kids Program, call the Riordan Clinic at 316-531-6242.
